DESCRIPTION:
Federico is known for going big & when designing this ring & it's pretty obvious that 'dainty' was not on his mind.We love our jewelry to be noticed & this is the designer to make it happen!
Truly a statement ring,this is designed with the colorful abalone shell that has some of the prettiest natural color tones! From the greens,to periwinkle blue violets,to golden yellows & pinks & that are displayed with that feminine touch of white pearls.
The tear drop abalone lays flush with the bezels they sit in,so there is no chance of knocking one off.The round pearl cabochons are nicely rounded,but lay low,but not flush.
Besides the color & size of the ring,what you will also find wonderful, is the cutout music Kachina,"Kokopelli" on each side of the shank!! (see photo 4)
The ring currently is a size 8-1/2 & because of this 'bypass' style shank,you can adjust,whether up or down.(see pic 8,910)This is the perfect middle finger ring & depending on the size of your hands,can cover both your pointer & ring finger,if you wear it on the middle finger.
Its heavy,weighty,very durable & made to last & the weight comes from all the metal,since the stone & shell are of a lighter weight.

Federico was raised in Oaxaca & it was during his youth that he fell in  love with antiquities,after finding a large pre-Colombian Mixtec Pectoral gold necklace in the back yard of the families house in Tututepec,Mexico. He has been a  avid collector of Pre-Colombian,Vintage Taxco & Native American jewelry,as well as collecting native costumes, ever since..
